304-414-4405 or (800) 540-8659 Information and Referral (I & R) United Way of Central WV primarily covers services needed Boone, Clay, Kanawha, Logan and Putnam Counties. United Way's I & R is available Monday-Thursday 8-4pm and Friday 8-2pm.

211 is the WV Information and Referral line. The Statewide Information and Referral number is staffed 24/7.

The I & R numbers do not provide direct assistance, the staff will assist you in finding the best services available to meet your needs. Their services are free, fast, and confidential.
